Pick of the clicks
We want to support a healthy and happy workforce. We base our staff health and wellbeing offering around our own workplace health guidance and the evidence-based 5 ways to wellbeing. This quarter’s pick of the clicks is designed to help you bring each of the ‘5 ways’ into your daily life.

Be active - which sport are you made for?
Simply answer the 13 quick questions in this BBC sports quiz and they’ll suggest which events from the Commonwealth Games could match your physical and mental abilities.
Sports scientists from Loughborough University devised the quiz. They drew up a list of the physical and mental attributes crucial to success in sport. Then, they rated each sport in the Commonwealth Games against these attributes. For example, gymnastics was rated as needing high levels of agility and power, while weightlifting was rated highly for power but required little agility.
When you answer the quiz, you rate yourself against this same list of categories. Your results are then compared against each sport to find your closest match.

Give - Free Cakes for Kids
Free Cakes for Kids is a community service for families who find it difficult to provide a birthday cake for their child. It’s based on the premise that every child deserves a cake on their birthday. The idea’s simple: Free Cakes for Kids matches amateur volunteer bakers with families in need. Using their skills as bakers, neighbours and good citizens, local volunteers and community groups bake delicious, homemade cakes in their own homes and kitchens. The cakes are then given free of charge to the family. Lovely!
