An excellent future for NICE

As you all know, last month we launched our new 5-year strategy.

We’ve had some very positive initial reaction so far. During the launch event, Lord Bethell of Romford and Hugh McIntyre (a consultant physician and medical adviser to our board) talked so positively about our work. It was great to hear.

You can find out everything you need to know about the strategy on the strategy hub page of NICE Space. The page is full of resources to help you understand and talk about our ambitions for the next 5 years.

Our attention now turns to how we turn the strategy into real change, beginning with the work set out in this year’s business plan. The business plan will be included in May’s board papers, so please do keep an eye out for when the papers are added to our website.

Some feedback I had from you earlier in the year was that you would like to hear more from the rest of our executive team. With that in mind, this ‘strategy special’ edition of NICEtimes is written by them. Each director has written an article to put the strategy in perspective in terms of their directorate. I hope you find it informative and useful.

Thanks to all of you for your help and support in delivering the strategy. I’m excited for what the future holds for NICE, and I hope you are too.
