Pick of the clicks - let's get digital

Our Digital Workplace team has been busy rolling out Microsoft 365 apps to support our effective and efficient working. They will empower and enable us with fit-for-purpose tools and technology.

Struggling to 'FindTime'?

FindTime helps you to schedule meetings. It uses the free, busy, and tentative information in calendars to show the best available meeting options. You can poll attendees for their meeting preferences and more.

“FindTime is one example of software that provides a small service with a huge impact on coordinator workload.”
Amber Medwell, dynamics CRM data administrator in the engagement and directorate support team

In-Form-ative app

The Forms app allows users to create forms which people can respond to using a web browser or mobile device. You can also create and collaborate on a form directly in a Microsoft Teams channel, before sharing with team members for them to complete. Extra functionality includes creating quick polls for use in and out of meetings. See real-time results and complete easy analysis.

The Sway to do it

Sway enables you to create visual content in this user-friendly application. A couple of examples of how you might use Sway would be creating self-directed learning materials, or step-by-step job guides which could benefit from interactive or visual elements.

“Sway is user friendly and it’s easy to format. Images and links can be added, making content more interactive.”
Emma Carter, assistant project manager in the impact team

'Planner' for success

Planner enables you to manage tasks and actions in a straightforward way. You can use this for recording your own tasks or tracking tasks and actions shared with colleagues. You can also share files and communicate using the chat feature.

"We use the Planner to track all aspects of the impact work we do. We use the cards for individual tasks and review these at our weekly team meeting. It’s a really helpful way of keeping track of our work and progress."
Rebecca Braithwaite, analyst in the impact team
